“ As far as a Chinese buffet goes, this is the best in Chelmsford. Cooked to order and table service. Set price. Can't ask for more. Food is also tasty. Definitely have the crispy duck pancakes as second course! ”
“ The best Chinese restaurant I have ever visited, polite staff and exquisite food. By far my most highly ranked Chinese restaurant! ”
“ Great Chinese. First time here. Value for money was amazing. Quality of food was great. Everyone of put group from the 6yr old to the 70yr olds enjoyed it. Perfect evening. Thank you ”
“ San was recommended by a friend and I’m very pleased we went. The place was full when we arrived which is always good sign, bright and nicely decorated. Most importantly, the food was excellent. They do clearly state that a 10% service charge would be added to the bill, and I am always wary of places that do this, but the service was good and I would have been happy to leave a tip anyway, so I have no complaints here. Will definitely return. ”
“ Food cooked fresh to each order! They are not shy on the portions and it all tastes delicious! We love coming here and always leave very content with a full belly. ”
“ Had their buffet which is superb and means you can eat as much as you like. This is menu style rather than getting up and serving yourself. They ask for the courses in between eating rather than all in one go which is a great way of doing it. Plenty of food and all really amazing quality. ”
“ The very best Chinese we have ever found across Essex, everything about it is great - 10 years loyal customers, we still pick up our takeaway's from here despite moving to the other side of Chelmsford. Food prep is fast and staff are as authentic as their cuisine, which is excellent! ”
“ Update October 2024. Staff great and food tasty. 22 mid week plus 10% service charge. More vegan options please! Update. Feb 2022. Now 20 mid week and a smaller menu. Food was OK, probably not as good as ordering off a menu elsewhere. As a vegan/vegetarian there were some tofu options but not loads. My friends who were eating meat said the kung pow chicken was the nicest but were not overly impressed. Also some of the portions were small. All you can eat (off the menu) for 17 when we visited on a Tuesday night. Was quite busy. The food was all hot and tasted good. Lots of choice! Even for a veggie like me! It would be far if they could offer a taster of some of the dishes as you feel bad /greedy ordering more than 3 each but at the same time you want to try others. ”
